Meltblown

Produced by blowing molten polypropylene through streams of hot air, our meltblown is a bulky, microporous material comprised of very fine filaments entangled together. This makes our meltblown ideal for applications that require high filtration efficiency such as air filters and face masks. The unique material structure of meltblown also makes it capable of producing excellent acoustics for sound dampening and insulation applications.

Capable of retaining liquids several times their own weight, our meltblown can also be transformed into highly effective industrial absorbents useful for cleaning up oil spills, soaking up hazardous chemicals, and many more.
